Tourist Play

This weekend was the BEST!

We made Creme Brulee

OH....MY.....GOSH!!

so good

Then Sister and Brother came to visit!

They are the coolest

They also brought their little love nugget

He's pretty much adorable!

and such a talker these days!

Brother and Nugget have never been to Seattle before

and its been quite a few years for Sister too.

It was fun playing tourist with them all day long

We visited the Troll

Saw a cool man playing the accordion in the street

and ate an amazing pull apart.

Yum



It also happened to be Husband's birthday!

So we stopped at his favorite little shop at pikes!

It was a great weekend!

 

Oh Bookstore!

Before I graduated from BYU-Idaho

I had the privilege of working at the University Store for over 2 years.

It was seriously the BEST JOB EVER! 

especially for a student

but now I've graduated and I can't work there anymore.

Cause I'm not a student anymore.

and cause now we live 14 hours away from campus...

:)

 Today while I was thinking about all the resumes I have handed out

and all of the applications I have filled out

and still no job here in Seattle...

I started to ponder on my old jobs.

and remembered this...

I sure hope you enjoy it.

It was a silly project

(is it lame that watching this almost made me cry?)

I sure do miss you bookstore friends!!

What has been your favorite, or least favorite job?

and yes...that is husband in quite a few shots with me. :)

but this was before we were dating.

Fathers Day

1. "It'll build character."

2. fishing trips

3. Not once feeling like work or anything else was more important than our time together.

4. Hitting apples over the backyard fence with the baseball bat.

5. Camping trips

6. Sleepovers on the trampoline. (You would always sleep out there with us all night long, no matter how uncomfortable, to make sure we were safe.)

7. Drives in your car

8. Sunday Father-Daughter meetings

9. Family dinners

10. Being able to call you anytime, any day, and know that no matter where you are or what you are doing you will be there willing to talk for as long as we want/need.

Thank you for being the best Dad I could have ever asked for.

You are one of my best friends. 

I love you so much

Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for me.

I could not be any luckier.

He is so silly and happy all the time.

You seriously cannot help but be in the best mood when you're around him.

I'm going to get kind of personal for a minute here guys.

The past few months have been kind of hard on me. On top of graduating from college, moving to a new city, and trying to find a job, I have been struggling with the side effects of my birth control. This is the second kind that I have tried in 8 months but the symptoms are still here. Doing really bad things to me.

I really have not been feeling like myself. At All!

All the worst symptoms you could possibly think of coming from one tiny pill. It's amazing! In the worst possible way.

Well

Steven has been amazing and so patient with me. He still loves to hold me, even when I was crying for no reason.

He's always there to tell me how much he loves me even when I am upset over nothing.

He is the best husband I could have ever dreamed of. He is my best friend and no matter how crazy I am while I get myself sorted out i know he'll always be right there making the very best of every situation.

I am so lucky!

What do the men in your lives do to make you feel so lucky?
