Steven asked if he could plan one of our Saturdays together
He's been working all day most Saturdays
So having him home was nice
and having a fun date day to look forward to was awesome!
We went on a run in the morning
something we rarely get to do together anymore
we came home and made breakfast together
then came the sports
but not normal sports
:)
Husband wanted us to noodle joust
what is noodle jousting you ask?!
:) let me 'esplain
first you need to make your joust
we were only allowed to use a small amount of glue
noodles
and string
This is what we came up with
we practiced a few rounds with circle noodles hanging from the ceiling
just to get our form right
then we strapped on our armer
and shouted
"Joust!"
The final round kind of ended up being more of a sword fight
we're kind of nerds
but I wouldn't have it any other way
he is
hands down
my favorite man
ever
